The Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia has adopted a statement on the protection of historical truth and the preservation of the memory of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, BelTA has learned.

The bill to ratify the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus, the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, and the Government of the Russian Federation, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on cooperation and exchange of information, including confidential information, in the area of supervision and (or) control of the financial market was passed at a sitting of the second session of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the eighth convocation on 9 June, BelTA has learned.

Russian regions have shown interest in studying of their students at the National Center for Patriotic Education at the Brest Fortress, Brest Oblast Governor Piotr Parkhomchik told BelTA.
