During a visit to a seismic exploration camp in Rechitsa District, Piotr Povzhik, Deputy Director General for Geology at Belorusneft, outlined the company’s seismic exploration plans for 2025, BelTA has learned.

Subsurface exploration for oil should produce better outcomes, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a meeting to discuss production of hydrocarbons in the country, BelTA has learned.

Lukashenko has urged for increased exploration and development of new oil deposits to boost the country’s mineral resources and energy security, citing concerns over slow geological exploration and the need for more efficient drilling.
