Western sanctions create new incentives to expand the geography of Belarusian exports, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said during a meeting with the heads of Belarusian diplomatic missions, BelTA has learned.

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has reacted with irony to Estonia’s latest sanctions, which include a travel ban on the Belarusian leader, Press secretary of the Belarusian president Natalya Eismont told TASS, BelTA learned.

Despite sanctions imposed by international structures, Belarusian athletes continue moving forward, Belarusian Sport and Tourism Minister Sergei Kovalchuk said on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on 20 June, BelTA has learned.

Belarus’ security chief, Aleksandr Volfovich, held multiple meetings at a Moscow security forum, where many countries, especially from the Global South and East, showed strong interest in Belarus’ experience with security and countering Western sanctions.

Lithuanian politician Eduardas Vaitkus stated that Western sanctions against Belarus and Russia are self-defeating.
