327 days alone: a British man rowed across the Pacific and Indian Oceans

A 54-year-old former Royal Marine, Dave Bell, has completed a solo rowing crossing from Peru to Kenya, covering nearly 29,000 kilometers (about 18,000 miles) in 327 days. The Brit not only set a historic world record but also raised over £112,000 for veterans and first responders suffering from severe stress disorders (PTSD), TASS reports.
