Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has arrived at the Palace of Independence for talks with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, BelTA has learned.

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko is set to hold negotiations with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on 20 August. The Iranian head of state is expected to arrive in Minsk on an official visit on 19 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Belarus invited Poland to security talks due to concerns about Poland’s militarization near their border, proposing negotiations and verification measures to reduce tensions.
