Belarus highly values the Vatican’s consistent and sincere position against sanctions, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he received the credentials from Apostolic Nuncio to Belarus Ignazio Ceffalia on 11 September, BelTA has learned.

Belarusian Ambassador Yuri Ambrazevich presented his credentials to the Vatican’s Edgar Peña Parra on May 30. They discussed bilateral relations, the international situation, and future cooperation between Belarus and the Holy See.
