The adjustment will have a two-fold effect: it will increase the amount of various social payments (benefits, scholarships, financial assistance) and simultaneously adjust the amount of certain budgetary revenues (state duties, fines).

Prime Minister of Belarus Aleksandr Turchin has signed a resolution setting the base rate at Br45, effective 1 January 2026, the government’s press service told BelTA.
