Chairman of the Belarusian Basketball Federation Sergei Rutenko and BBF Secretary General, Executive Director Anastasia Marinina took part in the annual forum of European national federations. 

In addition to attending official events, the Belarusian Basketball Federation representatives held meetings with the heads of FIBA, FIBA Europe and the national federations of many countries. Sergei Rutenko said the meetings with leaders of international and national organizations were very productive. Discussions with FIBA and FIBA Europe focused on steps to bring Belarusian teams back to the international arena in accordance with the recent IOC decision, as well as the participation of Belarusian Basketball Federation representatives in various programs under the auspices of FIBA and FIBA Europe. In the near future, special attention will be given to training referees and raising standards of their work with the aim of returning to the international stage.
