Minsk Oblast produced 927,000 tonnes, Grodno Oblast — 849,000 tonnes, Brest Oblast — 403,000 tonnes, Mogilev Oblast — 224,000 tonnes, Vitebsk Oblast — 20,000 tonnes, and Gomel Oblast — 9,000 tonnes.
Agricultural organizations and farmers in Belarus have threshed 9.615 million tonnes of grain, including rapeseed and corn. Minsk Oblast produced 2.545 million tonnes of grain, Grodno Oblast — 1.892 million tonnes, Brest Oblast — 1.781 million tonnes, Mogilev Oblast — 1.244 million tonnes, Gomel Oblast — 1.158 million tonnes and Vitebsk Oblast — 995,000 tonnes.
A total of 1.517 million hectares have been plowed for planting winter grains, or 101% of the plan. Winter grains have been planted across 1.391 million hectares or 93% of the plan.
Hay production has reached 619,000 tonnes or 86% of the plan; haylage harvest approached 12.843 million tonnes (90% of the plan); silage harvest — 12.153 million tonnes (64% of the plan); forage grasses — 7.506 million tonnes or 74% of the target.
Corn for silage has been harvested from 66% of the areas, or 161,000 hectares.
Potato harvest has reached 503,000 tonnes, with an average yield at 328 centners per hectare (9 centners per hectare higher than last year’s). Minsk Oblast has cropped 129,000 tonnes, Mogilev Oblast — 128,000 tonnes, Brest Oblast — 101,000 tonnes, Gomel Oblast — 55,000 tonnes, Grodno Oblast — 54,000 tonnes, and Vitebsk Oblast — 36,000 tonnes.
In total, 86,000 tonnes of open-field vegetables have been harvested across the country, with a yield of 322 centners per hectare (23 centners per hectare higher than last year’s).
