«The parties noted the qualitatively new level that relations between Belarus and the DPRK have reached over the past year. They stressed that friendly and trusting relations between the leaders of the two countries form a solid foundation for these ties,» the press service said.
The parties reviewed the implementation of agreements reached following the official visit of Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko to the DPRK in March 2026 and reflected in specific projects.
The parties paid particular attention to the opening of the Belarusian embassy in Pyongyang and further work of the joint commission on trade and economic cooperation.
The parties agreed to step up efforts to finalize the agreement on visa-free travel for citizens of the two countries and to continue providing mutual support at international platforms.
