As of 17 August 2026, grain harvest including rapeseed amounted to 8.215 million tonnes, which was almost 1.5 million tonnes more than on the same date in 2025, the press service said.

By region, the progress in the harvest looks as follows: Minsk Oblast — 2,222,000 tonnes, Grodno Oblast — 1,639,000 tonnes, Brest Oblast — 1,632,000 tonnes, Gomel Oblast — 1,027,000 tonnes, Mogilev Oblast — 956,000 tonnes, Vitebsk Oblast — 739,000 tonnes.

Grain and leguminous crops (including rapeseed, without corn) have been harvested from 2,225,000 hectares or 91% of the areas (2,432,000 hectares in total).

Flax has been pulled across the area of 43,000 hectares, or 99% of the target.

Deliveries under the state procurement order include: 416,000 tonnes of food grain (63% of the target); 105,000 tonnes of rapeseed (105% of the 100,000-tonne target); and 66,000 tonnes of malting barley (77% of the 86,000-tonne target).

Second cut was harvested across an area of 820,000 hectares or 81% of the plan.

Hay production has reached 520,000 tonnes or 73% of the plan. Silage harvest progress stands at 434,000 tonnes. Forage grasses total 3,631,000 tonnes or 36% of the target. Haylage production has reached 11,598,000 tonnes, or 81% of the target. 

Fertilizer stocks (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) for winter planting have been procured at 131% (227,000 tonnes) of the planned requirement.
