As of 7 August 2026, grain harvest including rapeseed amounted to 5.989 million tonnes, which was almost 2 million tonnes more than on the same date in 2025, the press service said.

By region, the progress in the harvest looks as follows: Minsk Oblast — 1,500,000 tonnes, Brest Oblast — 1,457,000 tonnes, Grodno Oblast — 1,125,000 tonnes, Gomel Oblast — 813,000 tonnes, Mogilev Oblast — 638,000 tonnes, Vitebsk Oblast — 456,000 tonnes.

Grain and leguminous crops (including rapeseed, without corn) have been harvested from 1,631,000 hectares or 67% of the areas (2,432,000 hectares in total).

Flax has been pulled across the area of 37,000 hectares, or 86% of the target.

Deliveries under the state procurement order include: 223,000 tonnes of food grain (34% of the 663,000-tonne target); 93,000 tonnes of rapeseed (93% of the 100,000-tonne target); and 42,000 tonnes of malting barley (49% of the 86,000-tonne target).

Second cut was harvested across an area of 764,000 hectares or 76% of the 1,010,000-hectare plan.

Hay production has reached 483,000 tonnes or 67% of the plan. Silage harvest progress stands at 366,000 tonnes or 2% of the plan. Forage grasses total 3,512,000 tonnes or 36% of the target. Haylage production has reached 11,296,000 tonnes, or 79% of the target. 

Fertilizer stocks (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) for winter planting have been procured at 117% (202,000 tonnes) of the planned requirement.
