As of 28 August 2026, grain harvest including rapeseed amounted to 8.819 million tonnes. By region, the progress in the harvest looks as follows: Minsk Oblast — 2,361,000 tonnes, Grodno Oblast — 1,788,000 tonnes, Brest Oblast — 1,637,000 tonnes, Mogilev Oblast — 1,109,000 tonnes, Gomel Oblast — 1,055,000 tonnes, Vitebsk Oblast — 869,000 tonnes.

Grain and leguminous crops (including rapeseed, without corn) have been harvested from 2,397,000 hectares or 97% of the areas (2,432,000 hectares in total).

Deliveries under the state procurement order include: 605,000 tonnes of food grain (91% of the 663,000-tonne target); and 92,000 tonnes of malting barley (107% of the 86,000-tonne target).

Mass sugar beet harvesting is underway across the country. Nearly 6% of the areas have already been cleared, accounting for over 6,000 hectares of the 109,000-hectare plan. A total of 251,000 tonnes of the crop have been harvested, with an average yield of 39.7 tonnes per hectare. The regional breakdown is as follows: Minsk Oblast leads with 153,000 tonnes, followed by Grodno Oblast with 80,000 tonnes, and Mogilev Oblast with 18,000 tonnes. All regions are currently harvesting at a faster pace than in 2025.

Second cut was harvested across an area of 887,000 hectares or 88% of the plan. 

Hay production has reached 544,000 tonnes or 76% of the plan. Silage harvest progress stands at 1,008,000 tonnes (5% of the plan). Forage grasses total 3,922,000 tonnes or 39% of the target. Haylage production has reached 12,016,000 tonnes, or 84% of the target. 

Fertilizer stocks (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) for winter planting have been procured at 152% (262,000 tonnes) of the planned requirement.
