The leader of the national team reached the podium in the ribbon event. In the final, Alina Harnasko placed third with a score of 28.100 points, finishing behind Italy’s Tara Dragas and Cyprus’ Vera Tugolukova. The Belarusian also finished fifth in clubs and seventh in ball. A day earlier, Alina placed among the top five in the all-around.
Another Belarusian gymnast Nikol Leuta also competed in Portugal. She placed sixth in the ribbon final and eighth in the ball event. In the all-around, she finished 16th out of 55 participants.
The second stage of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup will take place in Beijing on 19-21 June.
