The ministry noted that the autumn 2026 military and reserve draft is being carried out under a presidential decree.

On the first day alone, around 1,000 conscripts will be deployed to join the Special Operations Forces, the Minsk Military Commandant’s Office, the 72nd Guards Joint Training Center, and the 361st Security and Maintenance Base.

In total, draft boards plan to deploy around 10,000 men this autumn to staff the Armed Forces and other military formations of the country. Another 600 citizens will be drafted into the reserves.

The new recruits will take their military oath on 21 November.
