Viktor Lukashenko said that over 60 years, the Republican State School of Olympic Reserve, one of the country’s premier sports institutions, has nurtured a constellation of talented athletes who have achieved outstanding results. «All these achievements have been made possible thanks to the selfless efforts of the athletes and the highest professionalism of the coaching and teaching staff of the school. It is the mentors, with their proven experience and unwavering dedication, who are the cornerstone of future achievements. You pass on not only skill to the younger generation but also forge an unyielding sporting character,» Viktor Lukashenko noted.

Students of the school have won more than 30 Olympic gold medals. The school has graduated such renowned athletes as Vitaly Shcherbo, Ekaterina Karsten, Hanna Huskova, Victoria Azarenka, Marina Lobatch, Sergei Martynov and many others.
