Nearly 3,000 units of machinery, including tractors, trailers, combine harvesters and other equipment, have been supplied under the program. A network of service centers has been established, and local specialists have received training. He noted that the talks between the presidents of Belarus and Ghana resulted in concrete agreements to deepen bilateral cooperation, particularly in the trade and economic spheres.«We expect a contract for the supply of agricultural machinery to Ghana to be signed in the near future. I am convinced that its implementation will provide a strong impetus for the development of Ghana’s agricultural sector,» Viktor Karankevich stressed.
He emphasized that Belarus offers a comprehensive approach to agricultural mechanization.«This is not merely a supply of machinery. It includes the establishment of service centers and the transfer of the necessary expertise to local specialists. In the future, we also plan to organize joint assembly facilities with the sharing of relevant technologies,» he said.
Belarusian enterprises are also ready to implement other mutually beneficial projects with partners from Ghana. In particular, BelAZ is interested in supplying mining dump trucks. Belarusian pharmaceutical companies are keen to establish cooperation with pharmaceutical manufacturers from Ghana, Belarusian light industry enterprises are prepared to offer a wide range of export products, from yarns, natural fabrics and leather to finished garments, knitwear and leather goods.

This demonstrates the seriousness of intentions on both sides and, most importantly, an understanding of the significant opportunities that exist between our countries,» Viktor Karankevich concluded.
