The consumer price index for goods and services in August 2026 stood at 99.9% as against July 2026 and at 103.1% as against December 2025.

The core consumer price index, which excludes price fluctuations for certain goods and services subject to administrative and seasonal factors, stood at 100.4%, in August 2026 compared to July 2026 and at 103.4% compared to December 2025.
