"We should note a positive example of our bilateral cooperation: the launch of cross-border suburban train routes Smolensk-Orsha and Smolensk-Vitebsk, using a coordinated subsidy mechanism from the Union State budget. If we manage to develop a similar mechanism for international air transportation, as discussed at the meeting of the High-Level Group [of the Council of Ministers of the Union State], then I believe it would be quite beneficial,’ the diplomat stressed.

He expressed confidence that the Permanent Committee of the Union State will actively assist both sides in fulfilling this task.
