In 2025, Belarus hosted the anniversary 10th forum for the first time, at the initiative and with the support of the Council of the Republic. The event was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, with the theme Memory and Unity of Generations as a reminder of the importance of preserving history and unity.
Taking part in the event were delegations of schoolchildren from Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Over nine days, 80 participants from eight countries visited Belarus’ memorial sites, including the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, the Partisan Shore historical site, and the Khatyn memorial complex. They also presented their national cultures and participated in meetings and educational activities at the Zubrenok children’s educational and recreation center.
The forum is organized by the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly with the support of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States.
