The Belarusian Ministry of Communications and Informatization studied the experience of Russian Nizhny Novgorod Oblast in building a unified system of digital tools, BelTA was told at the ministry.

To ensure effective interaction between the state and the people on issues of public concern, the president of Belarus has set the task of developing a unified service capable of responding to citizens’ inquiries promptly and competently.

The ministry, together with relevant stakeholders, is working on building an ecosystem of digital tools for such direct and open interaction with society. Its toolkit includes the Smart City platform, 115.bel, the public appeals system, the AIS Dispatch Service, and other solutions. Similar systems have also been implemented in various countries, including China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and others.

To study practical experience in transitioning to such unified solutions, the Ministry is actively examining the work of its counterparts. As part of an exchange of experience, the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the Nizhny Novgorod Region presented its Regional Management Center to the Belarusian side, including regional representatives, and shared the results of its work.

During the presentation, the parties discussed the system’s functional capabilities, staffing, resource support, and potential effects.

Cooperation between the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of Belarus and the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast will continue, the ministry noted.
