The World Nomad Games will be held in Bishkek and Cholpon-Ata from 1 to 6 September, with the opening ceremony on 31 August at the new Bishkek Arena, attended by heads of state. The Games traditionally include three components — sporting, cultural, and scientific. In addition to competitions, conferences and ethnic festivals will be held in Kyrgyzstan. The event will bring together around 4,000 athletes and representatives from 90 countries.

Participants will compete for medals in 43 sports disciplines, grouped into nine categories: national games, horse racing, equestrian competitions, national wrestling, traditional strength sports, traditional intellectual games, archery, horseback archery, and traditional hunting with animals.

Belarus will be represented at the Games by nine athletes in three sports. Roman Korchinsky, Zakhar Bagritsevich, and Mikhail Solonenko will compete in belt wrestling. Arm wrestling will feature Aleksandr Lutskevich, Daniil Verenich, and Aleksandr Khvashchevsky. Vladislav Kulesh, along with European Championship and World Cup medalists Vladislav Mardusevich and Arseny Malitsky, will compete in sambo.

The World Nomad Games are aimed at reviving, preserving, and developing intangible heritage, ethnosport traditions, and the cultural identity of the world’s peoples. In 2026, the competition will be held for the sixth time, with Belarusian representatives having participated since the first Games in 2014.
