Belarusian wrestlers have two gold and two silver medals to their credit. In the under-72 kg category, Aliaksandr Liavonchyk proved strongest, defeating Istvan Vancza of Hungary in the final. In the under-130 kg weight class, Dzmitry Zarubski claimed victory, proving stronger than Mantas Knystautas of Lithuania in the decisive bout.
Second places in their categories went to Aleksandr Guryev (under 55 kg) and Shuai Mamedau (under 77 kg), who lost in the finals to representatives of Russia and Georgia respectively. In the team standings, the Belarusian national team finished second behind Georgia.
