Yuliya Vitko won gold in the women’s −57kg category, Georgii Gurtsiev (-63kg) and Raman Turavinau (-80kg) claimed silver. Artsiom Plonis took bronze in the +87kg category. Earlier in 2026, all four athletes won medals at the European Championships.

Seven Belarusian athletes competed at the tournament in China. The 2026 China Open International Taekwondo Championships were the final competition for the Belarusian women before the main event of the season, the 2026 World Taekwondo Women’s Open Championships which will take place in Taiyuan from 28 to 30 August.
