Based on law enforcement practice, changes have been made to the composition of the National Certification Commission, as well as to the regulations on the procedure for awarding the State Quality Mark.
In particular, the regulations have been supplemented with a criterion according to which the State Quality Mark is not awarded to products containing geographical indications in their name that are not associated with the territory of Belarus, as well as with a formula that allows for the automation of the candidate selection process.
Targeted amendments have been made to certain provisions of the regulations in order to eliminate redundant norms, bring them into line with the established product assessment procedures, and simplify comprehension.
