Belarusians head to beaches to bask in hot weather

Anomalously hot weather for Belarus, and particularly for Gomel, has settled over the country for a week now. City residents are seizing every opportunity to cool off and are visiting the nearest recreation areas along the shores of rivers and lakes.
In Gomel, for instance, beachgoers are offered a variety of leisure activities: rental of catamarans, boats, and stand-up paddleboards, inflatable water attractions, and special pontoons have been installed for easy access to the water. On the shore, there are playgrounds for the youngest.
