A meeting to discuss cooperation with African countries was held with the participation of Industry Minister Andrei Kuznetsov, as well as heads of domestic enterprises MAZ, MTZ and Bellakt.
«Our key task is to pool the efforts of ministries, the diplomatic corps and company heads to implement the head of state’s instructions. When exploring promising markets, success hinges on meticulous project preparation, solid economic rationale, and a clear grasp of each region’s unique characteristics. The main benchmark is to enter international arenas with substantive, well-calculated proposals and work toward a tangible, visible result for the country’s economy,» noted Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova.
The meeting offered a detailed look at the prospects for expanding production cooperation, including projects to set up assembly plants for Belarusian machinery, boost food exports, and streamline logistics and payment mechanisms. Participants stressed the importance of a systematic approach to preparing bilateral initiatives and stronger interagency coordination to ensure Belarusian goods gain real traction in African markets.
