In Belarus, the military personnel will take part in the Indestructible Brotherhood 2026 command-and-staff exercise featuring the CSTO peacekeeping forces, as well as the Barrier 2026 special drill with the CSTO joint formation for radiation, chemical, biological protection, and medical support. Both exercises are scheduled to take place from 12 to 16 October.

According to the ministry, the Indestructible Brotherhood 2026 exercise will focus on the preparation and conduct of a peacekeeping operation by the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces. During the Barrier 2026 exercise, the participants will practice eliminating sources of biological threats within the zone of responsibility of the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces.

The Belarusian Defense Ministry emphasized that exercises are scheduled and not directed against third countries.
