Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meets in restricted format in Minsk

A restricted-format meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council is underway in Minsk on 2 October with the participation of Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin, BelTA has learned.



«Yesterday, we held a meeting of the Union State Council of Ministers with our Russian colleagues. We also toured the INNOPROM. Belarus expo together. Today, we meet for the regular session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. As always, our agenda is extensive and diverse,» Aleksandr Turchin said.


The agenda features 15 items, including trade, industry, customs cooperation, financial policy, the electricity market, transport, and logistics.

Later today, a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in an expanded format will also take place.
