«Last night, Minsk National Airport welcomed the return of the Turkish carrier to one of the most in-demand air routes. The Turkish Airlines aircraft that operated the first regular flight under the resumed Istanbul-Minsk flight program landed successfully in the Belarusian capital exactly on schedule,» the press service said.
Following a long-standing aviation tradition, the aircraft was greeted with a water cannon salute. The crew and the airline’s delegation were welcomed right at the aircraft steps with a traditional loaf of bread.
Regular flights between Minsk and Istanbul are not only comfortable direct flights to Türkiye’s largest metropolis, but also excellent connections worldwide thanks to Turkish Airlines’ extensive route network, the press service said.
The frequency of flights at the first stage will be 6-7 times a week (night and day flights). Flight schedules and ticket prices are available on the airline’s official website.
