The minister informed that the venue of the Eurasian Economic Forum will be Minsk International Exhibition Center Belexpo. It will run six major themes and 35 events: plenary sessions, roundtables, business dialogues, etc.
«As of today, about 2,050 participants from 29 countries have already registered for the event, which indicates a high interest in the event. Mostly these are representatives of the EAEU member states and the countries — our biggest partners in Asia and Africa,» Maksim Ryzhenkov said.
The forum will be co-located with an outdoor exhibition of modern industrial, agricultural and other equipment, an exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory, and an exposition of the achievements of sovereign Belarus (clusters «Technological Country», «Diligent Country», «Beautiful Country»).
As expected, the forum will open with the welcoming remarks by Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin and Chairman of the EEC Board Bakytzhan Sagintayev. Among other things the forum will focus on ways to align the economic potentials and promote trade and economic cooperation.
