The showcase was featured in the event’s international program, standing alongside collections by designers from Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Yanina Chernyshevich, the artistic director of the fashion show, outlined a unifying theme: the artistic legacy of Marc Chagall as interpreted by Belarusian designers.

Maryna Davydova, representing the Davidova brand, explained that the collection is inspired by the heritage of the Vitebsk-born artist. «We used a signature print here, there is an echo of Marc Chagall’s book My Life, and there is love—everyone knows how deeply Marc Chagall loved his wife, Bella,» the designer shared.
The second part of the show featured the creative duo of sculptor Irina Rombalskaya and designer Tatyana Efremova. According to Efremova, the collection features «a complete imitation of hand-weaving, reminiscent of the knitting traditions of grandmothers in Belarusian villages.» Rombalskaya added that the designers aimed to blend authentic heritage with a modern perspective, incorporating grunge elements.

Moscow Fashion Week has brought together more than 200 designers. Alongside the runway shows, the event is hosting a showroom for industry buyers and a retail market for the general public.
