Khandoshka claims silver at 2026 European Aquatics Championships in Paris

Vasilina Khandoshka of Belarus has won her second medal at the 2026 European Aquatics Championships in Paris, BelTA has learned.



Athletes competed for medals in the Women’s Solo Technical on 4 August. Vasilina Khandoshka scored 263.3817 points and finished second among 16 competitors, just under 0.25 points behind the winner, Spain’s Iris Tió Casas. Third place went to Germany’s Klara Bleyer with 258.0400 points. The day before, Vasilina had won the European title in the Women’s Solo Free.

Earlier in her career, Vasilina Khandoshka has been a three-time world championships medalist (bronze in 2024, silver and bronze in 2025). Six years ago, at the continental championships in Hungary, she finished third in the technical routine. In the 2026 World Cup season in artistic swimming, Vasilina won six medals (one gold, four silver, one bronze).
