Kyrgyzstan to host Eurasian Economic Forum in 2027

The next Eurasian Economic Forum will be held in Kyrgyzstan in 2027, as part of Kyrgyzstan’s chairmanship in the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union. The announcement was made by President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov during a meeting with the heads of government of EAEU member states.




Sadyr Japarov underscored the importance of further developing cooperation within the EAEU and proposed expanding the forum’s roster of participants to include partner states and international organizations.

The meeting took place during a regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council that was held in the town of Cholpon-Ata in Kyrgyzstan’a Issyk-Kul Region.

Following the meeting in Cholpon-Ata, the EAEU heads of government signed a number of cooperation documents. The next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council was scheduled to be held in Minsk on 1-2 October 2026, to coincide with the INNOPROM. Belarus exhibition.
