In 2026, Br4.1 billion was allocated for the payment of benefits to families with children, including Br2.3 billion for childcare allowances for children under 3 years of age. These payments covered more than 320,000 children.

Over the entire implementation period of the Family Capital program (since 2015), 156,900 accounts have been opened, with $827 million and over Br2 billion credited to them.

Financial support is also provided to families with children with disabilities and large families in Belarus. For example, a social allowance is available to reimburse the costs of purchasing hygiene items for a child with a disability of the 4th degree of health loss. Monthly and lump-sum social allowances are provided for the purchase of food, medicines, clothing, footwear, school supplies, and other necessities to ensure normal living standards. Large families enjoy concessional terms for monthly social allowances: the eligibility criterion is 115% of the minimum subsistence budget (compared to 100% of the minimum subsistence budget for other families).

Families with twins, triplets, or more children, as well as families with a child with a disability, are provided with nanny services. In H1 2026, more than 2,000 families utilized these nanny services. To assist parents, social patronage and social respite services are also available.

Support is also provided in resolving housing issues. In 2025, more than 5,700 young families and over 7,500 large families improved their housing conditions.

Financial assistance is also provided for the school season. For instance, in 2026, more than 113,700 large families received aid to prepare schoolchildren for the academic year.

Special pension guarantees are also available for parents, ranging from a reduced insurance coverage period to the right to early retirement.

Up to 12 years of childcare is included in the total employment record for pension calculations, taking into account the periods until each child reaches the age of three.
