Lukashenko makes personnel decisions to appoint heads of municipal authorities

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made a number of personnel management decisions on 14 August. The president authorized the appointment of new heads of seven districts of the country and in the administration of one district in the city of Grodno, BelTA has learned.



The appointment of Nikolai Bortnik as the Chairman of the Ivanovo District Executive Committee has been authorized. Up till now he has been the head of OAO Tyshkovichi-Agro in the same district.

Vladimir Senchuk will lead the Kamenets District Executive Committee by replacing Vitaly Kulak, who will be appointed Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister. Vladimir Senchuk will be transferred to the Kamenets District Executive Committee from the position of the Chairman of the Brest District Executive Committee. His previous position will be filled by Grigory Panasyuk, who has been First Deputy Chairman of the Zhabinka District Executive Committee, Head of the Office for Agriculture and Food up till now.

The appointment of Piotr Belus as the Chairman of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee has been authorized. He has been working as a Deputy Chairman of the Braslav District Executive Committee up till now and has been overseeing housing and utilities industry and civil engineering industry.

Chairman of the Senno District Executive Committee Oleg Makarevich will be transferred to the position of the Chairman of the Dubrovno District Executive Committee. His previous job will be filled by Aleksandr Klyachin, who has been the Deputy Head of the Administration of Zheleznodorozhny District of Vitebsk in charge of overseeing the civil engineering industry and the housing and utilities industry.

The president also authorized the appointment of Dmitry Stankevich as the Chairman of the Chashniki District Executive Committee. He has been working as a Deputy Chairman of the Smorgon District Executive Committee in charge of overseeing the housing and utilities industry and the civil engineering industry up till now.

In accordance with the head of state’s decision the Administration of Oktyabrsky District of Grodno will be led by Zoya Kulesha. She has been working as a Deputy Chairwoman of the Grodno City Executive Committee up till now.

Apart from that, personnel changes have been authorized in the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee. Snezhana Titova will be appointed chief clerk. She has been working as the head of the Vitebsk Oblast branch of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population up till now.
