«This day became an important milestone in the development of Belarusian statehood. You were entrusted with the task of organizing a reliable energy supply for the country, which is a core component of national security,» the message reads.
The head of state pointed out that over the past 25 years, the domestic energy industry has fundamentally changed: generating capacities and network infrastructure have been modernized, and the gas and fuel industries continue to develop. «The construction of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant was a historic decision that contributed to strengthening the state’s sovereignty,» he emphasized.
The president noted that behind all these achievements lies the professionalism and responsibility of the ministry’s staff, who not only successfully tackle today’s challenges but also develop the country’s energy strategy for decades to come.
«I extend special words of gratitude to the veterans, whose hard work laid a solid foundation for the energy system of independent Belarus,» Aleksandr Lukashenko added.
The head of state wished everyone robust health, well-being, and new achievements for the future of their homeland.
