President Lukashenko signed an amnesty law for the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, reflecting humanism and aiming to re-socialize convicts.

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed the law «On amnesty in connection with the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War», BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.

In the run-up to the Victory Day, this law is an expression of humanism in the Belarusian society which seeks to re-socialize the convicted persons.
