Harvesting should not proceed in a careless manner, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said during a conference call on 18 July to discuss harvesting, BelTA has learned.
«We cannot allow carelessness during harvesting. This will inevitably lead to crop losses,» Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
He asked the officials overseeing the agricultural industry about the overall situation on the ground and issues that require immediate attention.
«Firstly, what is holding us back and when will the repair of all grain harvesting machinery be completed? Are there enough spare parts and how is the repair process arranged? I mean the agricultural equipment that I am constantly telling you about. Secondly, have the issues of fuel supply been resolved? Thirdly, how will grain drying be managed?» the head of state asked.
