The temporary trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and Mongolia was signed on 27 June 2025 and will enter into force on 22 July 2026. From the moment it takes effect, customs duties on 367 tariff subheadings for each side will be reduced or eliminated. The agreement is concluded for three years, with the possibility of automatic extension for another three-year period.
According to Leonid Ryzhkovsky, the temporary trade agreement between the EAEU and Mongolia creates a basis for developing mutual trade in manufacturing, agriculture, energy, transport logistics, and innovative technologies. «It is the right moment to intensify our efforts,» the deputy minister emphasized. «The development of trade and economic cooperation with Mongolia now primarily depends on us. We must significantly step up our work and take the initiative in establishing business ties into our own hands.»
Forum participants spoke about real preferences for Belarusian businesses and promising areas of cooperation. As it was noted, the forum is becoming a starting point for new opportunities and successful initiatives. An important step has been taken toward developing trade and the economy, with plans and prospects outlined for the future.
