Aleksandr Komendant noted that the forum has brought together more than 200 people from 15 countries. The agenda is diverse: from economy to investment. «Today we are actively investing in tourism. Minsk has something to show, Minsk has something to be proud of. Today we will be discussing various topics: from artificial intelligence to building tourism capacities. Minsk is a modern city that certainly has something to show to our partners,» Aleksandr Komendant believes.

According to Aleksandr Komendant, forums always work toward future projects. «Today, Minsk attracts investment from several dozen countries. We actively cooperate with China and Central Asia. Uzbekistan and the UAE feature prominently on the agenda. All of this, without a doubt, originated at forums like this one. These are the first contacts that then materialize into real projects,» he added.

The forum will highlight tourism, artificial intelligence, modern urban environment, and investment cooperation. «Minsk actively cooperates with sister cities. When we communicate, we see great interest. Some are interested in tourism, others in public utilities, still others in education. Today at the forum we are ready to discuss all these topics, so as to contribute our experience to the development of other cities and to learn something from our neighbors,» he said.

Aleksandr Komendant emphasized that artificial intelligence is a very hot topic today. «This topic is of interest to us as well. We are already beginning to introduce elements of artificial intelligence into certain projects. Here we are interested in the experience of our neighbors and other major metropolises, in order to understand what could be useful in this for urban society,» he added.
