Currently, 283,300 senior citizens aged 65 and over are registered with the social welfare authorities in the central region. Among them are 113 centenarians who have passed the century mark.
«Meanwhile, the number of working pensioners in the Minsk Region has grown by 15,900 since the beginning of 2022, reaching a total of 101,800. To meet the demand for social care, the region operates 23 territorial centers for social services and 17 residential care homes.
