«School is indeed less visually stimulating. But in my opinion, the most important factor is the parents’ own interest in learning. If parents are eager to gain knowledge and discover new things, they will naturally encourage their child to do the same and find ways to spark that interest,» she said.

According to the expert, increasing a child’s motivation requires guidance from adults (whether parents or teachers). She recommends introducing new teaching methods, creating an element of surprise and alternating traditional approaches with more innovative ones.

Encouraging curiosity is equally important. If a child asks a question, parents should try to give as complete an answer as possible. If they do not know the answer themselves, they can look it up together in encyclopedias or children’s educational books.
