According to Vladimir Pertsov, the European Union itself provokes surges in illegal migration. The situation is also affected by the instigation of conflicts and the imposition of reckless economic restrictions on disfavored states, which hinder their development and lower living standards in those countries. As a result, people migrate en masse, essentially fleeing to the EU in search of a better life.

«This is primarily the fruit of their own policies. They do not want to acknowledge their blatant miscalculations: actions aimed at dividing the world into the ‘golden billion’ and those who do not live in the ‘garden of Eden’,» said the first deputy head of the Belarus President Administration.

He added that instead of admitting their mistakes and miscalculations, European structures begin to blame anyone else. «First, they blame the states bordering the ‘garden of Eden’. At first, these were claims against the Republic of Belarus, that we, allegedly, were organizing something. Now these are accusations against Morocco. In effect, they are hitting the tail instead of solving global problems, or at least not creating them and not increasing the number of migrants,» Vladimir Pertsov noted.

In his view, sooner or later, such mass movements of people will lead to significant changes in the geopolitical and ethnic landscape of Europe. «Europe is no longer what it was 10-20 years ago. This will not lead to anything good. We need to cooperate, we need to coexist,» the first deputy head of the Belarus President Administration is convinced.
