One-day retail sale volume per capita came at Br32.5 as against Br29.9 year-on-year.

Retail outlets accounted for 96.3% of retail sales. In January-May 2026 they reported Br42.9 billion in retail sale, up 7.6% as against the same period of 2025.

In January-May 2026 wholesale trade amounted to Br73.9 billion, or 99.4% year-on-year in comparable prices.

Trade by public catering outlets totaled Br3.1 billion or 100.5% as against the same stretch a year ago.
