In the opening rounds, the Belarusian beat Spain’s Jessica Bouzas Maneiro (No. 50) 6-4, 6-2, and dismissed France’s Elsa Jacquemot (No. 67) 7-5, 6-2. In the round of 16, Aryna Sabalenka beat Australia’s Daria Kasatkina (No. 53) 6-0, 7-5. Sabalenka is competing on the clay courts of Paris for the tenth time. In 2025, she reached the French Open final, where she lost to Coco Gauff of the USA. 

The women’s singles final of the French Open is scheduled for 6 June; the men’s final will take place on 7 June. The total prize fund of the season’s second Grand Slam tournament stands at a record €61.7 million, with the men’s and women’s singles champions each taking home €2.8 million.
