According to the National Bank, performance indicators of the banks testify to the reliable, steady, and efficient operation of Belarus’ banking sector.
The sufficiency of the regulatory capital of the banks stood at 19.2% while the minimal threshold for individual banks has been set at 10% (12.5% taking into account the conservation buffer).
The liquidity coverage ratio across the entire banking sector reached 158.6%, with the threshold at 100% at least.
The share of non-performing assets of the banks in the assets exposed to credit risk amounted to 2.2%, with the threshold at 10%.
