The «Alesya» TBM is currently passing under the intersection of Masherau Avenue and Starazhyouskaya Street (near the «Belarus» hotel landmark), while «Mariya» is just 150 meters away from «Kamarouskaya» station, beneath M. Bahdanovicha Street. In about a month, «Mariya» will be brought to the station for scheduled maintenance.

Meanwhile, work is in full swing both on the surface and underground. Rails have already been delivered and welded into long, continuous sections for future installation in the tunnels.
«This year, we will complete the reinforced concrete structures. Residents can already see from their windows how we are backfilling the site. After that, we will move on to specialized work: installing systems and utilities, and interior finishing. Starting next spring, we will begin landscaping the section between Nekrasava and Surhanava streets and restore normal traffic flow there,» noted Vasily Kosovets, General Director of Minskmetrostroy (the Minsk Metro Construction Company).
Incidentally, later this year, residents and visitors to the city should expect changes in traffic patterns at the roundabout on Bangalore Square.
The «Park Druzhby Narodau» (Park of Friendship of Peoples) station will be unique—it will be the deepest station in Minsk, as it is designed to serve as a major transfer hub to the new circular line in the future. Construction of the first station entrance at Bangalore Square is already underway, with crews erecting monolithic concrete structures.
Active tunneling at «Kamarouskaya» will begin this year, while full-scale construction of the «Peryespa» station is scheduled to kick off in March 2027. Preparations for the excavation pit and traffic detours are currently underway at that location.
Where will the TBMs head next? In the second half of 2027, «Alesya» and «Mariya» will be redirected to the fourth, circular line. They are slated to bore approximately 6 kilometers under Orlovskaya Street toward the Viesnianka neighborhood, constructing three brand-new stations along the way.
