According to operational data as of 28 September, sugar beet has been harvested from an area of 41,000 hectares, which is 37% of the plan of 109,000 hectares. A total of 1,855,000 tonnes of the crops have been dug, with an average yield of 456 centners per hectare. The regional breakdown is the following: Minsk Oblast at 737,000 tonnes, Grodno Oblast at 647,000 tonnes, Brest Oblast at 295,000 tonnes, Mogilev Oblast at 154,000 tonnes, Vitebsk Oblast at 18,000 tonnes, and Gomel Oblast at 4,000 tonnes.
Potatoes have been harvested from 48% of the acreage, which is 10,000 hectares out of the planned 22,000 hectares. A total of 351,000 tonnes of potatoes have been dug, with an average yield of 334 centners per hectare. The regional breakdown is the following: Mogilev Oblast at 93,000 tonnes, Minsk Oblast at 85,000 tonnes, Brest Oblast at 79,000 tonnes, Gomel Oblast at 37,000 tonnes, Grodno Oblast at 35,000 tonnes, and Vitebsk Oblast at 22,000 tonnes.
In total, 63,000 tonnes of open-ground vegetables have been harvested across the country, with a yield of 332 centners per hectare, which is 75 centners per hectare higher than last year. The sown area exceeds 3,000 hectares, and 44% has already been harvested.
At agricultural organizations and peasant farms, 9,253,000 tonnes of grain, including rapeseed, have been threshed. A total of 1,343,000 hectares have been plowed for sowing winter grains, which is 89% of the plan of 1,500,000 hectares. Winter grain crops for grain have been sown by all regions of the country on an area of 983,000 hectares, or 65% of the plan.
Flax straw has been lifted from an area of 40,000 hectares, which is 91% of the planned area. Turning of flax swaths has been carried out on an area of 23,000 hectares, or 54% of what has been pulled. A total of 141,000 tonnes of flax straw have been harvested.
Corn for silage has been harvested from 49% of the area, which amounts to 463,000 hectares.
A total of 605,000 tonnes of hay have been stored, or 84% of the plan; 12,769,000 tonnes of haylage, or 89%; 9,653,000 tonnes of silage, or 47%; and 6,521,000 tonnes of grass feed in feed units, or 64% of the plan.
Mineral fertilizer stocks (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium) for winter sowing stand at 344,000 tonnes of active substance, which is 199% of the plan.
