The event brought together 150 young specialists from various fields.
The forum’s opening ceremony and the subsequent dialogue platform were attended by Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus and Presidential Envoy for Minsk Natalya Kochanova.
In 2026, more than 9,000 young specialists joined the capital’s workforce. Natalya Kochanova emphasized the special responsibility that rests on the new generation of workers. «Minsk is the capital of our country, the largest hub where young professionals are needed today to strengthen the economy. The younger generation, born in sovereign and independent Belarus, must continue the glorious labor traditions. The state does everything to support young people: a separate article is enshrined in the Constitution, and about fifty laws regulate youth policy. But the most important thing in every person’s life is their homeland, which must be valued, protected, and developed through their own work,» Natalya Kochanova said.
The chairperson of the Council of the Republic also highlighted the importance of the first job and the role of mentoring. Experienced professionals and managers are ready to provide young people with the necessary support to ensure their career paths are confident and long-lasting.
Minsk Mayor Vladimir Kukharev also met with the young participants. He noted that young specialists are now entering a phase where they must demonstrate the professionalism and skills acquired during their studies while simultaneously gaining new knowledge and experience.
The choice of venue is symbolic — the Minsk City Technopark, reconstructed on the instruction of the head of state. Vladimir Kukharev reminded the young people that the Minsk Motovelo Plant, located in the technopark, was founded after the Great Patriotic War. «People understood: to live and develop, to build the country, they had to work,» he said, adding that the task was accomplished at the time. Today, Belarus’ economy is stable: enterprises are operating and new ones are being built. The younger generation will continue to develop the country.
The forum’s opening was also attended by Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Yuri Senko, Chairman of the Minsk City Council of Deputies Artyom Tsuran, and Presidential Aide — Inspector for Minsk Dmitry Reutsky.
After the opening, the young professionals had the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers.
The forum will run for two days. Ahead are practice-oriented sessions at Minsk enterprises, intensive workshops on information security, financial literacy, and local government work, a strategic session on developing initiatives, and much more.
